Gordon D. "Gordie" Johansen moved from Southern California to Fort Smith in 1991. Right after college he began his real estate career in California with Glendale Federal Savings. He was later associated with Coldwell Banker Commercial Real Estate, was a Vice President responsible for the West Coast for Merrill Lynch Real Estate Investment Banking and a Senior Vice President for Wells Fargo Realty responsible for Southern California, Arizona and Nevada.
Gordie specializes in tenant/user representation. He has an extensive client list of national companies for which he has provided services. He is a longtime owner, investor, manager and financier of income properties giving him valuable professional experience in advising and assisting his clients.
Gordie grew up in Michigan and has a BS Degree in Business Administration. He achieved the S.I.O.R. designation in 2001, and is a graduate of Leadership Fort Smith. Additionally, Gordie serves on several boards and foundations. He is currently President of the Fianna Hills Property Owners Association, past President of the Maui Schooner Resort Board of Directors, past President of the Heritage Foundation, past Chairman of the Mercy Celebrity Classic, a member of the Mayor's Civic Center Task Force and a founding/charter member of the Fort Smith Children's Emergency Shelter.
